Each of us can become a refugee one day

There are several ongoing field projects aiming to help refugees, ran by trustworthy activists and NGOs. Please help us to raise funds!

The shame is deep and persistent. The time has surely come to put it to an end and to try to attain some decent level of civilization.

Starting from May 2015 we have been witnessing a massive migration of people fleeing the war in the Middle East. Not only international institutions and politicians can shape the current situation. Each of us can take actions in order to bring relief to the refugees, even if on a very local scale.

On this blog you can read about the situation of the refugees on the Balkan route. Starting from September 2015 I had been volunteering with the local NGOs and individuals in Macedonia, Greece and Turkey. Together with many devoted activists I met on my way we were trying to bring help to the refugees on their way to EU. I was always trying to document what I saw and heard from trustworthy people, so i hope that my testimony gives a reliable glance on a very complicated situation of the refugees.

If you would like to join future expeditions, please follow me on Facebook where you will find updated information (no photos of toddlers or meals guaranteed 😉 )
